-
- - What is IMHist
-
- IMHist is a door which allows your BBS callers, as well
- as yourself, to view recent mailer activity, and other
- statistics managed by InterMail. Some of the options which
- can be viewed through IMHist's vivid displays are inbound and
- outbound mail histories, last calls, and the day's statistics.
- By registering this program, you enable the yesterday options,
- which provide the mailer information from the previous day,
- with the exception of last calls.
-
- - Fixes/Additions since 1.00
-
- In this new version of IMHist, we have fixed a few
- problems and added a few features. The following is a list
- of them:
-
- - ANSI SysOp chat color
- If you started a chat session, the SysOp's color
- would be white until the remote pressed a key. -- FIXED!
-
- - Lastcalls time/date
- On the lastcalls screen, the time and date of the
- lastcalls has been added. -- ADDED!
-
- - Registration "credit" screens
- When registered, if you loaded the registered
- features, it would give credit to the person who
- registered (or helped register) it would pause. This
- pause can now be toggled.
-
- - More than 30 day history Logs
- If your history log contained more than a month of
- data, it would display last month's same day info. (ie :
- it's 02/01/94 - it would also display 01/01/94) -- FIXED!
-
- - General Speed Up
- IMHist now runs faster than before; I sped up the
- searching routines.
-
- - Future Release Information
-
- These things are what I hope to accomplish in the next
- version:
-
- - More statistics
- Average CPS, Total daily online time, average daily
- CPS and more!
-
- - More chat features

- - Legal Notice
-
- Neither the author, Alan Jurison, nor any other party
- involved in the creation of this program makes any guarantees
- as to its functionality. It has been tested and produced
- satisfactory results. However, there is no way to be sure it
- will work in all environments. Although I hope it won't, if
- IMHist formats your hard drive, causes a shift in the orbit of
- Jupiter's 12th moon resulting in severe snowstorms over the
- east coast of Somalia, or influences government officials to
- raise taxes on candy bars, through this disclaimer, I can not,
- and will not be held responsible. If you find that IMHist does
- not work properly, please don't hesitate, though, to let me
- know what the problem is. Be sure to tell me what kind of
- setup you are running, and perhaps I can fix it up in the next
- release.
-
- - Registration
-
- This version of IMHist is being released as shareware.
- This means that you are entitled to use and try out the
- program, but after a reasonable time, should register it. I
- have no way of forcing you to do so, and won't pretend that I
- do, but registration will entitle you to some newer features,
- which won't be released as soon in the demo version, and some
- which perhaps will never be released in that version. It will
- also eliminate a few annoying beeps in the program. IMHist
- registration is $10 US.
- To register, fill out the registration form included in
- the archive, and send it back to me. I'll have your key sent
- to you as soon as I can fire up my registration program.

- - Setup Program
-
- IMHist setup is easy. All you have to do is run the
- program, IMHSETUP.EXE, included in this archive.
-
- IMHSetup takes the following command-line paramater:
-
- [SETUP.IMH] - The name of the setup file if other than
- SETUP.IMH. This is useful if you are running IMHist on
- more than one node.
-
- The setup program is easy; you just move the windows and
- hit enter on the items you would like to see/configure.

-
- - Command-Line Parameters
-
- IMHist takes the following command-line parameters:
-
- [SETUP.IMH] - The name of the setup file if other than
- SETUP.IMH. This is useful if you are running IMHist on
- more than one node.
-
- LOCAL - Run in local mode. If this parameter is used,
- you MUST specify a setup file.
-
- ANSI - Use ANSI in local mode. This parameter can
- only be used when running in LOCAL mode, and because of
- this, both a setup file and LOCAL must appear on the
- line.
-
-
- - IMHist Menu Options
-
- Once inside IMHist, a user has many options. They are
- as follows:
-
- [ I ] - View today's inbound mail history
- [ O ] - View today's outbound mail history
- [ M ] - View last inbound and outbound mail calls
- [ R ] - View today's mailer activity
-
- [ A ] - View yesterday's inbound mail history {+}
- [ B ] - View yesterday's outbound mail history {+}
- [ C ] - View yesterday's mailer activity {+}
-
- [ \ ] - View program information & registration credits
- [ Q ] - Quit to BBS
-
- {+} Registered only
-
